Comentario Bíblico Contemporáneo (Spanish Version)

Three basic theological convictions support this product of the work of people from various ministries and cultural backgrounds:
• That God be revealed through Jesus Christ, the living Word, and that revelation has been recorded in the Holy Scriptures to serve as the normative authority in all matters relating to Christian faith and conduct.
• That the Holy Spirit uses the Bible on a personal and community level with the purpose of making known the will of God for human life in all its aspects and for the whole of creation.
• That for the Bible to fulfill its purpose it is necessary to read it, study it and interpret it in a spirit of prayer, making use of the principles of exegesis and hermeneutics, including not only the investigation of the historical context of the biblical writings but also of the historical context where today its interpretation is made.
