Andrea Zaki Stephanous
Andrea Zaki Stephanous has a BTh from Cairo Evangelical Seminary, an MA in Theological Studies from Eastern University, Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester. He is the general director of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS), president of the Protestant Churches of Egypt, and president of the Fellowship of Middle East Evangelical Churches. Dr. Zaki teaches at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo and is the author of Jesus and Historical Criticism: The Story of the Conflict between Salvation and Social Change and Copts and Revolution. His other book, Political Islam, Citizenship and Minorities: The Future of Arab Christians in the Middle East, has been published in Arabic, English, and German. He has also written numerous articles for Arab and English news media and Christian magazines.
